  I was visiting friends in Valencia, and they asked if I wanted fish tacos. I never ever say no to fish tacos, so we got in the car and we headed for the mountains..
  
  Fish tacos in the mountains? In a canyon on the way to Lancaster?! I wasn't skeptical. I just thought we would be driving closer to the ocean instead of farther from it.
  
  After savoring the cool wind from the drive, we pulled up to Heart N Soul Coffee House. It's a cute place off the side of the road with a large patio and a few tables inside. They have plants that ward off mosquitos which is helpful. My friends are regulars, and when they introduced me to the staff, I was greeted warmly. I felt like a regular myself.
  
  I ordered two fish tacos and a Maui Wowi milkshake. The tacos were absolutely amazing! The fish was fried perfectly. Not greasy and had a crispy bite. The tortillas were soft, and they didn't skimp on the guacamole. I added some Tapatio for heat, and I was in heaven. The milkshake was delicious. Because I got a fruit one (it had bananas, coconut, and pineapple I think), it didn't seem heavy at all. It wasn't until I finished that and the tacos that I felt full. So full that I didn't even try the waffle fries. But it's something to look forward to next time I visit SoCal.

  The place was always good, but the new owners really put there heart into it. The food is great the people are terrific! The Club sandwich is a monster and the fish and chips are incredible.
